Viewing an item's usage (TAO Ignite)

The item Usage report feature provides educators, test administrators, and item creators with the ability to identify which published tests and sessions the item has been used in. This feature is useful to ensure that items are not reused by accident.

Prerequisites

This feature is only available for TAO Ignite.

Accessing item Usage

Navigate to the Content Bank.
In the Items window, select an item in the menu on the left of the interface.
To view the item’s usage, select Usage.

Viewing test usage

Under Item Usage, select Tests.

Only published tests (deliveries) will display.

The report displays a table with the following information:

Label: The label of the test.
Location: The relative location of the test in the Test library. For example, if a test is in a folder labelled Grade 5, the location would be “Test/Grade 5”.
Last modified on: The date the test was last modified.

Select View to view a test. This will open the test’s location in a new window; from there, you can preview or edit the test.

Viewing session usage

Under Item Usage, select Sessions.

The report displays a table with the following information:

Name: The name of the session.
Last published on: The date the session was published.
