Importing/exporting Content Bank resources

This topic references where to find information on importing and exporting resources - such as items, tests, and assets - to and from the Content Bank.

Importing resources into the Content Bank

There may be situations where you need to migrate resources from one TAO instance to another. For example, if you’ve installed TAO Core using our simplified container method and want to access the latest version of the platform, you’ll need to export and re-import your resources to maintain your work.

Exporting resources from the Content Bank

There may be situations in which you’ll want to back up your resources by exporting them from the version of TAO you are working in.  For instance, if you’ve installed TAO Core using our simplified container method and want to access the latest version of the platform, you’ll need to export your data from your current instance and import it into the new one to maintain your work.
