How to access your account

Applies to

Test takers with an active TAO account.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

• Your TAO username and password.

• Access to the email address associated with your TAO account if your organization uses two-factor authentication.

Purpose

This guide explains how to log in to the TAO platform as a test taker. Depending on your organization’s settings, you may also need to complete two-factor authentication before you can access the platform.

Steps

1. Open the TAO login page provided by your organization. The appearance of the login page may vary depending on your organization.

2. Enter your username in the Username text box.

3. Enter your password in the Password text box.

4. Click Log in.

5. If you are prompted to complete two factor authentication, check the email address associated with your TAO account for an authentication code.

6. Enter the authentication code in the provided text box.

7. Click Log in to access the TAO platform.

8. For most organizations, a Forgot your password? button will be available. If you click this button, you will be prompted to enter the email address associated with your TAO account. Reset instructions and a link to enter a new password will be sent to that email.
